Naiad Infrastructure is based in the British Channel Islands and run by Ian Corder, Principal Consultant.
Ian is a passionate environmental manager who loves working with those responsible for infrastructure projects and operations, and making them the best they can be in terms of efficiency, productivity and sustainability.
Ian brings together strategic management ability, an enthusiastic yet diplomatic approach and strong digital analytical skills. Equally comfortable building a strategic vision or drilling into the detail, he combines deep curiosity and technical ability with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
Most recently, Ian ran the cost and carbon forecasting function for the UK Environment Agency’s £2Bn flood and coastal capital programme. He has also enjoyed spells at Rolls-Royce Defence and Balfour Beatty, working on life-cycle cost estimating, operations modelling, bid management and business productivity improvement.
Ian is a Chartered Environmental Manager with the Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management, and holds qualifications in project management and accounting from the Association for Project Management and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants respectively.
He holds an MSc in Environmental Management from the University of Nottingham and a BA in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge, as well as a Diploma in Executive Management from the Institute for Leadership and Management.
